Police arrest Fulton men while recovering stolen car

Two Fulton men were arrested early Tuesday after allegedly stealing a car from a towing company.

Callaway County Sheriff’s deputies and Fulton police say they were searching for 22-year-old Shane Vandelicht around 3 a.m. Tuesday. Deputies say Vandelicht was suspected of stealing a car and a deputy found the car on his property.

Law enforcement found Vandelicht hiding in a nearby building along with meth and drug paraphernalia.

Deputies and police also found 52-year-old William Potter and he was in possession of meth as well.

Vandelicht is facing charges of meth possession, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest, tampering with a motor vehicle and three outstanding warrant. His bond is set at $13,000 and he remains in custody.

Potter was arrested on charged of meth possession and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. He posted a $5,000 bond
