Woman killed in Morgan County car accident

A Stover woman was killed in a single-car crash in Morgan County Tuesday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said 38-year-old Amy L. Schnelting was traveling eastbound of Highway 52 around 11:35 a.m.

Troopers say Schnelting’s vehicle left the right side of the road, hit a utility pole and overturned. Investigators said she was ejected from the car.

Schnelting was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers said she was not wearing a seat belt.
