Emergency crews work multiple accidents on I-70

All lanes of Interstate 70 are open after Boone County and Columbia emergency crews worked multiple accidents on the road near the Sorrels Overpass.

The first crash was called out around 7:17 a.m. Friday in the eastbound lanes. At 7:38 a.m. another accident was reported in the same area.

Crews also worked a separate accident nearby at the 122 mile marker, in the westbound lanes.

Emergency officials had one lane of eastbound and westbound traffic shut down on I-70.
