Hard freeze Friday morning followed by a big warm-up

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cold with lows falling into the upper 20s. Frost is likely with light winds expected.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and warmer as a south breeze sets in and gusts up to 20 mph. Highs in the upper 50s to around 60.

EXTENDED: Gorgeous weather is expected over the weekend as the jet stream lifts to our north and pulls in warmer temperatures each day. Highs on Saturday make it to about 70, with an even warmer Easter Sunday as temperatures rise into the mid-70s with breezy south winds. The warmer than average temperatures remain with us next week until our next low pressure system moves in from the Plains late Wednesday into Thursday. Showers and potentially a few thunderstorms will be possible Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Behind this system, we'll cool back into the 60s for high temperatures.
