Mall Sells for Cheap

Documents released late last week show Jefferson City’s Capital Mall sold for $11 million.Former owner General Growth Properties’ fourth quarter report includes the sale price. GGP off-loaded the mall to a local owner after years of decline.Based on the numbers in GGP’s report, Capital Mall sold for less than $20 per square foot, well below area real estate averages.
