Two People Jumped Near Campus
Columbia police are investigating a Friday morning assault in which a man was injured.Police were called out the 200 block of South Providence around 2:30 a.m. A 20-year-old man and 19-year-old woman were walking in the area when a dark colored car pulled up. Four men got out and assaulted the victims. The male victim had minor injuries.Police say the suspects are described as two white males and two black males.The suspect car was last seen traveling southbound on Providence.
