Cardinals:Outfielder Carlos Beltran and Pitcher Jeff Westbrook both had to leave Thursdays 8-2 win over the Miami Marlins early. In his first start since last September, Westbrook was hit on the leg off a grounder in the second inning. Beltran bruised his right toe. The Red Birds top prospect Oscar Taveras hit a grand slam.Royals:The Kansas City Royals are now 6-0-1 this Spring season. Pitcher James Shields pitched a hit less inning, beating San Diego 5-4. Johnny Giavotella drove in two runs for Kansas City.
