Man Gets 165 Years in Prison

***UPDATE MONDAY 7:13 P.M.***James Woods got 165 years in prison for assaulting and robbing two elderly women in Mid-Missouri.The first case in 2011 involved a 98 year-old victim. During the latest attack in 2012, Woods stole a necklace from a 72 year-old woman after following her home from a shopping trip in Columbia.Police arrested Woods at Stephens Lake Park after surveillance cameras captured his car, which was easily identifiable. Woods was also on parole for rape at the time.***ORIGINAL STORY***The suspect found guilty of violent crimes against the elderly in Columbia is set to be sentenced Monday.In January, James Woods was found guilty on charges related to the break ins and attacks that happened in 2011 and 2012.Woods faces up to life in prison.Sentencing is set for Monday afternoon.
