Keith Smart arrested after chase, multiple threats
A Portland, Mo. man lead Callaway County Sheriff’s Deputies on a high speed chase before crashing outside of Fulton.
According to the a news release Friday, Keith Smart, got threatened deputies and said he would blow up the courthouse to kill a judge when deputies put him in jail.
Smart also allegedly told a deputy, not named in the release, that he had the chance to kill him because he recently had him at the end of his rifle scope.
Smart faced several traffic violations and could be charged for having drug paraphernalia.
No word on additional charges Saturday.
He was being held on a $30,000 bond.
