Williamsburg man wanted on felony sex charges

Mid-Missouri authorities arrested a man on Tuesday for felony child sex charges.

Craig Long is wanted by police in Kansas City, Kansas, but living near Williamsburg, about 20 minutes east of Kingdom City. The victim is now in protective custody.

In January, Callaway County deputies and a Kansas detective uncovered evidence in a home while serving a search warrant at 9589 Seminole Road. They found enough to issue an arrest warrant for Long earlier this month.

Deputies and FBI agents waited until Long came home before arresting him around 2:15 a.m. Tuesday.

Long is now in jail in Callaway County waiting for officers to take him to Kansas.
