Tracking some patchy fog with sunshine moving back in
FRIDAY: The rain from yesterday has led to some patchy fog this morning. Where we’re seeing the issues should start to improve by 10 AM with the sunshine starting to return this afternoon. Brighter skies and winds swinging out of the south will help temperatures into the low 60’s.
TONIGHT: A disturbance will move just to our north overnight. A few showers will be possible for a brief period north of I-70 in the predawn hours of Saturday but otherwise quiet. Lows will fall into the upper 40’s.
EXTENDED: Saturday itself will be a gorgeous day for most of us, with a steady breeze and temperatures in the low 70’s. It’s toward the evening when a cold front will move through that might kick up some storms. Most indications seem to point at the I-44 corridor and southeast of there, but anything that gets going would need to be monitored for large hail and gusty winds. Those exit the area quickly, with cooler air behind it, holding highs in the low 60’s Sunday despite the sunshine. We keep the blue skies overhead through Tuesday with temperatures getting back into the upper 60’s and low 70’s. Another chance for rain moves in Tuesday night into Wednesday.
