The Rock Bridge Bruins forced five Helias turnovers en route to an easy 35-6 win over the Helias Crusaders in week six. With the win, the Bruins move to 4-2 on the season; Helias dropped to .500 at 3-3. Matt Bush picked off Wyatt Porter twice and now has five on the season. But it was wide receiver Kenny James that stole the show. James scored three times with, not big, but huge plays. James found the end zone twice through the air with TD receptions of 50 and 78 yards, and after Helias scored a garbage time TD late in the 4th quarter, James took the ensuing kickoff 82 yards back for his third TD of the night. Next week, Rock Bridge will try (once again) to beat Rockhurst on the road in Kansas City.
