Man Arrested for Assault

A Richland, Mo. man is behind bars Tuesday for a Friday night assault in Pulaski County.Pulaski County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a home on Seneca Lane in Waynesville around 6:20 p.m. Friday for a serious physical assault. Deputies found a man who had been beaten with a baseball bat during a fight.The victim told deputies about the assault and named the man who allegedly beat him. He was then transported to Ft. Wood Hospital and later a hospital in Columbia for treatment.Deputies arrested 48-year-old Tyrone Darrel Fellers for felony first degree assault with a weapon after Fellers showed up at the Sheriff’s Office to give a statement about the assault. Fellers remains in the Pulaski County Jail on a $250,000 bond.
