Two Arrested for Meth Lab

Two Columbia residents were arrested during a traffic stop Wednesday night for charges related to a meth lab discovered in September.Deputies found the meth lab in the 7000 block of Highway VV on September 26, and identified Richard Wright, 33, and Lacey Wright, 32, as suspects. The Wrights were caught during a traffic stop Wednesday night in the area of Northland Road and Parker Street in Columbia.Both were arrested for distribution and manufacture of a controlled substance. Richard was also arrested for possesion of a controlled substance, possession of a firearm for unlawful purposes, and possession of certain weapons, as well as outstanding warrants from Callaway, Cooper and Cole counties.Richard’s bond amount was set at $133,000; Lacey’s was set at $50,000.
