10/8: Warming but Unsettled

An active weather pattern will bring changeable weather to Mid-Missouri this week as temperatures warm up. It will stay dry Monday and most of the day Tuesday with high temperatures warming to the lower 60s Monday and near 70 Tuesday. A cold front moving through Tuesday evening will bring a chance of showers but they will be light and spotty with only a tenth of precipitation or less. Skies will clear quickly behind the front with a chilly start to the day Wednesday with lows near 40. Sunshine will boost temperatures into the lower 60s Wednesday afternoon.We’ll warm up a few more degrees Thursday but another cold front will bring rain chances back to the region late in the day and cool temperatures slightly for Friday. A stronger storm system approaching the area Friday will increase our chances of t-storms Friday afternoon and evening with a warm front. Temperatures will warm into the 70s Saturday before another cold frontswings through, bringing a chance of strong storms Saturday afternoon and evening.We’ll have updated information on the weather changes throughout the week.
