Nursing Home Resident Found
A Mid-Missouri nursing home resident is safely back home after he walked away from his facility this afternoon. It happened just before 3 p.m. at the Riverview Nursing Center in Mokane.Callaway County Sheriff’s deputies and state troopers searched for the man they described as middle-aged with a medical conditions for a little more than two hours. He was located less than five miles from the home. Police said he was disoriented but otherwise was doing well.Calls to nursing home management have not been returned yet.
