Couple Escapes House Fire

The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental, but investigators are not ruling out a faulty furnace.***UPDATE 6:06 A.M.***Firefighters have clarified that an elderly couple in the home got out after the fire started. Neither person was hurt, and the Red Cross is on scene to assist them. Firefighters say the home, located in the 2200 block of Cedarbrooke Drive, has suffered heavy damage.***ORIGINAL STORY***Firefighters in Jefferson City were called to a house fire on Cedarbrooke Drive early Wednesday.
