10/17: Severe Threat Wednesday

A cold front is moving in Wednesday afternoon and will bring chances for showers and thunderstorms to Mid-Missouri. Some storms may be strong-to-severe, mainly for areas along and east of Highway 63.The main threats for severe weather will be damaging winds and small hail. The time frame for severe weather will be from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.Rainfall amounts will range from .25″ to .50″ with slightly higher amounts possible for areas east of Highway 63.Storms and clouds will gradually clear out for the evening.
