10/17: Windy Weather Thursday

Strong west to northwest winds will develop Thursday as an upper low pressure area deepens to our north and moves east across the Great Lakes area. Winds will increase from 15 mph in the morning to 20-25 sustained in the afternoon with gusts as high as 45 mph. A Wind Advisory has been issued from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday for western Missouri, including Benton, Morgan, Pettis and Saline counties.
