Capital Gains

The Rock Bridge Bruins went into Adkins Stadium Friday night and became the second Columbia team to defeat the Jeff City Jays in the state’s capital. The Bruins first got on the board thanks to Kenny James, who returned a kickoff 92 yards for a score following a Jeff City field goal. From there, Rock Bridge just kept creating distance, leading by 18 at one point in the game before closing out a 28-18 win. District playoffs begin next week.
