Columbia police arrest two after convenience store robbery early Tuesday

Columbia police arrested two suspects Tuesday afternoon after investigations of a robbery at a Petro Mart early Tuesday morning.

Police say a robber got away from a west Columbia convenience store with an undisclosed amount of money early Tuesday.
The Columbia Police Department said in a news release that a report of a robbery with a gun at the Petro Mart at 1004 N. Stadium Blvd. came in at about 5 a.m.

Officials report Howard Craft, 20, was arrested at 1:30 p.m. for first-degree robbery, unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action. Tyrese Craft, 17, was arrested for the charge of first-degree robbery. Both are from Columbia.
Police found the suspects in the 1300 block of Ludwick Blvd.
