***UPDATE 4 P.M.***Officials say the truck driver is at University Hospital with injuries to his hand.Roadway crews expect to reinstall the light pole Monday night.***ORIGINAL STORY***Emergency crews are working an extrication accident in Columbia Monday afternoon.According to dispatchers, a semi-trailer truck hit a light pole near the intersection of Stadium Boulevard and East Pointe Driver. The truck overturned, trapping the driver inside.The driver, only described as a white male, has been transported to University Hospital.The truck was carrying concrete bricks and emergency officials say the truck is now leaking diesel fuel.Traffic is expected to be backed up in the area as crews work to clear the scene.
