Cox Can’t Be Stopped

Mizzou wrestling head Brian Smith may have to fight Gary Pinkel for J’Den Cox’s services. The Hickman linebacker will attend Mizzou on a wrestling scholarship, but his prowess on the football field is equally undeniable. Friday night in the first round of district play, Cox scored the first two Kewpie touchdowns by ripping the ball out of the hands of a Timberland ball carrier and returning the “fumbles” for scores. Next Friday, Hickman will rematch Rock Bridge in the second round of the Class 6 District 3 bracket.
