Two Busted for Campus Drug Sales

Police say they have made a dent in a campus drug ring. Two students are out of jail Friday, after police busted them for allegedly selling marijuana on and around the Mizzou campus. Police say they caught freshman Brandon Federighi Wednesday in Parking Structure #7 off of Hospital Drive. He allegedly had four times the felony amount of marijuana on him. The next day, police served a search warrant at 1515 Bouchelle, where they say they found marijuana and “a lot of marijuana” on senior Girogio Gregoris. Both Federighi and Gregoris are charged Friday with felonies for distributing a controlled substance near a school and for possession of drug paraphernalia. . Police say they saw a car in the parking garage with four men inside. The cops allege seeing a cloud of smoke coming from the car, and smelled marijuana. They say Federighi was inside the car with 143 grams, or slightly more than five ounces of marijuana in his backpack. They claim he also had plastic bags to divide the marijuana for sale. “He was obviously selling drugs,” MU Police Chief Jack Watring said in an interview Friday.Gregoris also admitted to distributing the drug on campus for the past few months.
