Deputies Looking for Burglar

Maries County Sheriffs deputies are looking for another suspect in connection with a series of burglaries ABC 17 News reported on last weekend.George Puckett, 45, of Springfield is thought to be in Springfield or Jefferson City.A warrant has been issued for Puckett’s arrest. He could face charges of second degree burglary.If you know where George Puckett is, you’re asked to call the Maries County Sheriff’s Department at 573-422-3381.Puckett is accused of working with Curtis W. Winters, Barbara A. Jenkins, Kenneth D. Frazee and Brandon P. Veasman on a series of burglaries on County Road 624 earlier in October. As of Saturday night, all the other suspects had bonded out of jail.Deputies identified the suspects last weekend after local news aired surveillance pictures the property owners recorded.
