Columbia Mall Restaurants Close

Two restaurants in the Columbia Mall are closed until new management takes control.Famous Cajun Grill and Stir Fry 88 shutdown earlier this month for several health code violations, including roaches. The Columbia/Boone County Health Department investigated after a woman found a roach in her daughter’s food.Officials saw uncovered squid chicken in the refrigerator. They also discovered raw food next to cooked food, along with roaches and roach feces.Both storefronts are shuttered again so the employee changes can take place. There is no specific time date on the when the eateries will reopen.The two restaurants have been closed a total of five times in the last two years.
