Be Ready to Cast Your Ballot

Voting is now underway in Missouri and thousands have already been out to polling places around Mid-Missouri.At some locations in Boone County, people lined up to cast their vote when polls opened at 6 a.m.Earlier reports may have caused some confusion about what it is needed when heading to your precinct. Election officials say bring your voter identification card to your polling place, or there are other options.Acceptable forms of identification include:- Voter ID card- Driver’s License – Missouri or other states- Identification card issued by a state agency (e.g., University employee ID, state employee ID, WIC card, non-drivers ID issued by Dept of Revenue, birth certificate)- Identification card issued by an institution of higher education, including a university, college, vocational and technical school, located within the state of Missouri- Passport, Social Security Card, Medicaid or Medicare card or Identification issued by the federal government- A copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck or other government document that contains your name and addressRequirements for voters who registered by post card and have not previously voted:- A copy of a current and valid photo identification- or if you do not have a photo ID: A copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or government document that shows your name and address
