SUNDAY UPDATES: Missouri reports over 600 new cases of COVID-19
The Missouri Health Department reported 609 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, bringing the total to 485,997 cases throughout the pandemic.
On Sunday, 4 new deaths were also reported, totaling 8,374 in the state.
Missouri's 7 day positivity rate continues to slowly fall, hitting 4.2 percent Sunday.
The number of people hospitalized because of the coronavirus dropped by 64 on Sunday, now sitting at 833 people. Of those, 151 are in the ICU.
In Missouri, 2,045,550 doses of the coronavirus vaccine have been given out. 1,344,494 people have started the vaccination process, which equals 21.9% of the state's population.
Of those vaccinated, 733,683 people have completed the process.
