Jeff City Burn Season to Start

Jefferson City’s burning season is set to begin on Thursday.Starting November 15th, residents of the city can burn yard waste during daylight hours only. The burning season lasts until March 15th.The Jefferson City Fire Department is reminding all residents that the fires must be attended to at all time and that burning is prohibited on streets, sidewalks and storm drains.Anyone needing information can call the fire department at 573-634-6401.
