Two Arrested After SWAT Search
Jefferson City police arrested two people after a SWAT search uncovered a drug operation Monday morning in the 1100 block of East Dunklin Street.The 28 year old woman and 26 year old man could face charges of possession of narcotics distribution materials, meaning investigators found evidence in the home that a the couple was selling drugs.Police said Monday no drugs were actually found in the home, but a young child was turned over to the Division of Family Services’ Children’s Division.Police told ABC 17 News the address had been watched for some time.
