Boil Advisory for Boonville

Sections of Boonville are under a boil advisory until Thanksgiving Day after a leak was discovered in an eight-inch water main.Boonville Public Works crews discovered a hole in the water main on Tuesday and shut off water to the area around 12 p.m. Repairs were made immediately. and water was restored approximately an hour later, however water should still be boiled before being consumed.The area affected is Sportsman’s Road from Radio Hill Road to the city limits, including Sunset Drive, Sunrise Drive and Sunlit Circle.About 40 customers are impacted by the boil advisory, which runs through 1 p.m. Thanksgiving Day.
