Man Arrested for Child Abuse
A Morgan County man has been arrested for allegedly abusing a 2-month-old infant.According to the Stover Police Department, officers were alerted to an infant in the Capital Region Medical Center’s emergency room on Monday. The infant had sustained a head injury that was consistent with physical abuse.After an investigation by Stover police, the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, and the State Technical Assistance Team, officers arrested Joshua M. Gerlach of Stover.Gerlach was arrested for neglect of a child with serious emotional or physical injury. He is currently being held at the Morgan County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
