Armed Suspect at Large

Police are searching for a gunman who they say got into a woman’s car in the parking lot at the UM – ENT & Allergy Center on Keene Street. The victim alleged that the suspect demanded her to drive. When she panicked and started screaming, police say the man got out of her car and ran away. The call came in shortly after noon Tuesday, and responding officers set up a perimeter in the area. Police used a K-9 unit to try to track the suspect, but they were unable to find him. Investigators say they can’t confirm that any robbery was attempted, because the man only told the woman, “drive.” Cops describe the suspect as a black male in his late teens, possibly with facial hair, standing about 5′ 6″ tall. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a stocking cap, and had a white Walmart bag, and a black/grey handgun.
