Driver Killed in Accident
A Centralia man was killed Tuesday night in a single-vehicle accident in Boone County.The Boone County Sheriff’s Department says Duane A. Lyons, 33, of Centralia was driving on East Maupin Lane just before 10 p.m. when his truck left the road. Lyons overcorrected, ran off the road again, hit several trees and flipped over.He was pronounced dead at the scene. Deputies say Lyons was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
