Man Charged for Brick of Pot

An Osage County man is arrested and charged for having drugs. On Saturday night the Sheriffs Department, assisted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group, and the Belle Police Department executed a search warrant for a home on Long Horn Lane near Bland, Missouri. Officers found several drugs including a brick of around 110 grams of marijuana and prescription narcotics. Officers arrested 56 year old Tom Cartwright of Belle, Missouri. The Osage County prosecutor charged Burnett with two felonies of having drugs and a misdemeanor of illegally using drug paraphernalia. Cartwright posted a $25,000 bond on Sunday and was released. A second person was also taken into custody and released from the Osage County Jail pending misdemeanor drug charges.
