1/10: Weekend Wintry Weather

A cold front will drop through Mid-Missouri early Saturday, ushering in arctic air for the weekend. An area of low pressure will develop along the front with rain developing by Saturday evening south of I-70 and near I-44. As the colder air continues to move in, the rain will likely change over to a wintry mix or sleet, before becoming all snow overnight into early Sunday.It is still too early for any potential accumulation amounts as there is still some uncertainty on the timing and type of the precipitation.
