1/13: Cold Inauguration Ceremony
It will be a sunny, frigid day for the 2013 inaugural events in Jefferson City Monday. Temperatures will be near 18 degrees for the start of the parade at 10 a.m. with a light breeze, making it feel more like 10 degrees. Despite full sunshine, temperatures will only be in the low 20s with wind chills in the teens for the swearing in ceremony on the south lawn of the Capitol. The high temperature in the afternoon will reach 29 degrees which is 10 degrees below average for January 14th.
