MUPD Investigate Sexual Assault

University of Missouri police are investigating a sexual assault that happened in a campus dorm before winter break.MUPD told ABC 17 News their department got a call from the Springfield police department about the November 1 incident.The victim said she was sexually assaulted in Center Hall on Kentucky Boulevard that night. At the time, she was a Mizzou student, but it’s not clear if she is still enrolled at the Columbia campus.MUPD said they are in the process of interviewing the victim, who said the suspect was an acquaintance.Stay with ABC 17 and abc17news.com for updates on this story as they develop.
