JCPD Makes Heroin Bust

Jefferson City police have made an arrest stemming from an ongoing heroin investigation. The department announced Friday it had picked up Frank Collins III, 32, for three counts of drug distribution.Police tied Collins to arrest last month of another Jefferson City resident.They say Collins and 44-year-old Tracy Davis are responsible for several heroin deals that led to overdoses in Mid-Missouri. Both the suspects who are originally from Chicago are being held on $250,000 bond.
