New Prosecutor on Cop Case

There are new developments in the case of a former Columbia Police officer who was fired for excessive force.Cole County Prosecutor Mark Richardson has been named special prosecutor in the case of former cop Rob Sanders.You may remember Sanders was fired last year after he was charged with misdemeanor assault for an incident caught on jail video.Former Special Prosecutor Mike Fusselman withdrew earlier this month citing a conflict of interest.Sanders’ next court date is February 7th.
