COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Thursday morning crash on Interstate 70 East backed up traffic in Columbia.

Emergency crews cleared the crash scene before 8:30 a.m. It's unclear if anyone was hurt in the wreck.

Boone County Joint Communications tweeted about the crash near the Stadium Boulevard exit.

The Missouri Highway Patrol also tweeted about the wreck saying multiple vehicles were involved.
