Tracking a chance at snow this morning

flakes possible

THURSDAY: Light to moderate showers will push through today, and even mix in some snowflakes at times this morning. We’ll shake those off by midday as the leftover moisture departs closer to this evening. Snow could reduce the visibility at times, but is not expected to add up on the roads. Blustery northerly winds will keep temperatures from warming much past 40 today, with gusts up to 40 mph.

TONIGHT: We finally start to dry out this evening as the cloud cover even starts to break up. As it does so, temperatures will settle down near 30 for overnight lows.

EXTENDED: We rebound much better on Friday with plenty of sunshine. Temperatures will work their way towards 50 by the afternoon. We do even better into the weekend, with highs reaching the low to mid 60’s both days. Clouds pick back up on Monday ahead of our next disturbance, with rain moving in during the evening into Tuesday. Nothing wintry expected with that system as highs will reach the low 60’s all week. We’ve got another shot at some showers or even a few thunderstorms closer to next Thursday.
