Tracking a foggy start with more storms tomorrow
TUESDAY: Plan on some dense fog throughout this morning. Visibility will start to improve around 10-11 AM, but the clouds might be slow to clear into this afternoon. Where we do pick up some fuller sunshine, near the lake, temperatures will push towards 60 this afternoon. Further north, clouds will hold better, keeping temperatures in the low to mid 50’s.
TONIGHT: Clouds stick around tonight as our next system approaches. Lows will only fall into the middle 40’s. A stray shower is possible before sunrise, but most of us will be dry overnight.
EXTENDED: Showers and storms push in quick for our Wednesday, anytime after about 7-8 AM. Some could be strong as they push in, but should be trending downward in intensity. These will stick around for much of the morning before a short break in the activity. Another round fires up in the afternoon, where we’ll be tracking another severe threat. Large hail and gusty winds will be the primary threats with the stronger cells embedded within these storms. The overall threat looks pretty limited, with the atmosphere not having a chance to destabilize. Rain sticks around overnight and into the first part of Thursday, keeping us cool, in the 40’s. Those showers move east Thursday afternoon, with the sunshine holding off until Friday. Temperatures will top out in the low 50’s Friday, warming into the upper 50’s and low 60’s during the weekend.
