Tracking isolated strong storms late this afternoon, fog overnight

TONIGHT: Storms move out before midnight. Patchy fog developing late with lows near 40.

TOMORROW: Partly cloudy with highs in the mid-50s.

EXTENDED: Another low pressure system will track across southern Missouri Wednesday into Thursday, bringing another chance of showers and storms to Mid-Missouri by Wednesday morning. Heavy downpours will be possible in the morning, followed by a few strong storms by afternoon and evening with the overall severe weather risk being the highest across the southeast United States through Thursday morning. We'll cool down behind this system with temperatures falling into the upper 40s on Thursday as post-frontal showers try to work their way out of the area early in the day. Rain totals through Thursday will amount to 1" to 1.5". We end the week on a more quiet and warmer note with sunshine returning Friday, followed by a nice weekend with highs approaching the 60s both days.
