Bitterly cold overnight, more fog sets in by morning

TONIGHT: Clouds clear by this evening, leaving mostly clear skies. Cold with lows in the mid-teens. Patchy fog developing late.

WEDNESDAY: Patchy fog in the morning, with sunshine later in the day. Early wind chills between 5-10 degrees above zero. Highs in the mid-30s.

EXTENDED: Winds shift back to the south on Wednesday night, bringing in warmer air for Thursday. We get back into the low to mid-40s for highs through Friday, and warm into the 50s by the end of the weekend. The pattern remains dry and warmer than average heading toward Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, making for great travel weather for the holiday around Mid-Missouri.
