SUNDAY UPDATES: New COVID-19 cases in Missouri drop again
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported 291 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday. There have been 480,643 cases of the virus in the state.
The department did not report any new deaths related to the virus. The death toll remained at 8,161.
Hospitalizations fell below 1,000 on Sunday. There were 955 people hospitalized with the virus, and of those, 197 were in the intensive care unit.
The state reported 528,271 people had completed vaccination. The state reported 997,611 people had received their first shot of the COVID-19 vaccine.
