Jefferson City woman charged with domestic assault after Feb. incident
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)
A Jefferson City woman is charged with 3rd-degree domestic assault after allegedly breaking the victim's elbow during an altercation.
Jefferson City police responded on Feb. 5 to the 1300 block of Monroe street to a domestic assault where the victim was thrown to the ground and possibly broke his arm.
When police arrived, the victim told them he had come to Jefferson City to work on a relationship with Kacey Ligon when Ligon told him "you're f**ked," the day before.
As the victim tried to walk away from the altercation, Ligon allegedly drove up and tried to hit the victim with a car.
The victim told police that after the incident his elbows hurt.
After getting medical treatment, the victim told police he had right and left elbow fractures.
Ligon's bond is set at $5,000 cash/surety.
