One person dead after a wreck in Benton County Tuesday morning

BENTON COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Missouri State Highway Patrol is reporting a 79-year-old Warsaw man has died in a Benton County wreck Tuesday morning.

According to a crash report, a Ford F350 attempted to turn onto Commercial st from MO Hwy 7 when it was hit by a Toyota Camry.

The passenger in the Camry, Charles Stranathan, died at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt.

The driver of Camry, Tara Sanders, and the driver of the F350, Chantel Brewster, reported no injuries and were wearing a seatbelt.
