QUESTION OF THE DAY: Should Columbia and Boone County ease coronavirus restrictions?

The health director for Columbia and Boone County announced Wednesday a new coronavirus order that will allow restaurants and bars to stay open later starting Friday.

Officials said numbers of new cases and hospitalizations are plummeting but cautioned some restrictions are still needed to avoid another surge. Columbia and Boone County are the only areas of Mid-Missouri with such orders in place.
