Tracking snow showers through mid-evening, brutally cold tonight
TONIGHT: Snow showers end between 7-8 PM, with northerly wind gusts holding at around 20 mph. Lows in the single digits with wind chills below zero through Sunday morning.
TOMORROW: Bitterly cold to start, with wind chills below zero up until about midday. Highs in the upper teens with mostly cloudy skies. A few light snow showers are possible, but no accumulation is expected.
EXTENDED: Cold weather remains the rule heading into the next week with another disturbance Monday bringing a chance of a wintry mix early in the day. Temperatures remain in the low 20s with wind chills in the single digits Monday morning. The rest of the week is spent in the teens to around 20 degrees during the day, with overnight lows in the single digits. With nearly zonal flow, disturbances could bring snow on Wednesday and Friday with very frigid air in place. We continue to cold weather into next weekend with temperatures remaining in the teens with lows hovering just above zero.
